From the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis and other sites, the Annapolis Striders sponsor marathons and other events, including the annual Annapolis 10-Mile Run, next scheduled for August 24, 2014.
The Annual Governor's Bay Bridge Run (10k) crosses the Chesapeake Bay Bridge from the Eastern Shore to Sandy Point State Park on the Western Shore each May, but was not held in 2011, 2012 or 2013.

The Frederick Running Festival will next be held in May 2015.
The Maryland Half-Marathon, a charity run benefiting the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center, is now held in Maple Lawn in Howard County, and will next be held in May 2015. Previously, it had been held in Timonium, Baltimore County.
